PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress foreign matters from entering from an aperture of a resonance room while absorbing sound by resonance. SOLUTION: A separation wall section 24 is arranged between an upper face section 21 and a lower face section 23 which face each other, and an air layer is formed between the upper face section 21 and the lower face section 23, in a sound absorbing body 2. The aperture 21A which is connected to the air layer is provided in the upper face section 21. An upper face section 21 side of the sound absorbing body 2 faces a wall surface, and the sound absorbing body 2 is arranged on the wall surface so that space may be generated between the wall surface and the upper face section 21. When sound is generated in the room in a state that the sound absorbing body 2 is arranged, a low frequency sound wave in the sound wave which is output inside the room enters the space between the upper face section 21 and the wall surface. When the sound wave enters the space between the upper face section 21 and the wall surface, energy of the sound wave is consumed by the air layer including the aperture 21A, and sound is absorbed.
