PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing/drying machine having an atomizing unit that never wrongly detects the state of the level of water stored in the device, and capable of exhibiting excellent wrinkle reducing effects by moistening the surface of clothes at appropriate drying rate. SOLUTION: The atomizing unit 30 comprises an atomizing chamber 31 to store water 21 as a mist generation source fed from a water supply port 31, an ultrasonic vibrator 32 for applying ultrasonic vibration to the water 21 stored in the atomizing chamber 31 to atomize the water, and a water level sensor 33 disposed on an atomizing chamber side wall 31c to detect the level of the water 21 stored in the atomizing chamber 31. The water level sensor 33 is composed of at least two conducting sensors 33a and 33b disposed in the vertical direction on the atomizing chamber side wall 31c.
