PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush, preventing bristles near a bristle binding part of the brush from being bulged, that is, used for a long time by a capillary phenomenon of the bristle part, which works until the bristles wear down. SOLUTION: A step 5 is provided on both inside parts of the tip of a cutting part 4 of a grip 3, a bundle of bristles 2 is held therein, through-holes 6 are bored in several places, and the step part and the bristles 2 bundled by a binding band 1 are divided into several parts and bound by a binding line 7, thereby producing a gap between the tip of the grip 3 and the bundled bristles.
