<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the processing for painting all over a region on an inner side of a contour of a character by using the number of rolling of proper data size. <P>SOLUTION: A painting-all-over-background synthesis-transfer module 255 is provided with seven registers for storing the number of rolling w of each pixel in a drawing region, and one register holds a value of one bit. That is, the painting-all-over-background synthesis-transfer module 255 can store the number of rolling w of seven bits at the maximum. However, such register allowing a designer of the program stored in a ROM 12 to suppose that it is proper from the viewpoints of amount of change in the number of rolling and bit width of the number of rolling is used from among these registers. Consequently, the bit width can be flexibly changed in accordance with characteristics of font data when compared with the conventional technology using the fixed bit width. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
