In a conveying and/or accumulating apparatus including chain deflection wheels or other flexible elements apt to support and transmit the motion to product containers suspended at their ends to said chains, the paths followed by the chains and/or the conformation of the anchoring means of the containers to the chains themselves are such that they do not obstruct at the loading and/or unloading stations of the product the necessary space for the passage of the products in direction of the longitudinal axis of said containers, thus allowing for loading and unloading operations in said direction. The apparatus guarantees for many types of products particularly reliable and fast loading and unloading operations permitting to optimize the layout of the production lines. |
