PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the difficulty of speed control of a screen damper, occurring when a roll screen or a blind is wound, lifted, unwound, or developed. SOLUTION: The screen damper device is comprised of a damper and a damper housing, pivotally connected to a clutch assembly, and combined with the roll screen or the blind. The damper has a curved surface formed on one end thereof, for generating volume change thereof when a shaft is rotated with respect to the damper housing, and a storage chamber hermetically sealed between the damper and the damper housing is filled with damper oil. Further, the clutch assembly is pivotally connected to an axis at one end of the damper housing, and a transmission rod of a main spring on which the roll screen is mounted, is fitted to an axial rod at the other end of the damper housing.
