摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene detection method capable of catching, on a working electrode, electrochemical light emitting material separated from a magnetic bead. <P>SOLUTION: The gene detection method includes a first step of forming probe complexes by bonding target nucleic acid to be measured, a magnetic bead having a first probe bonding to a part of the target nucleic acid and an electrochemical light emitting material having a second probe bonding to the other part of the target nucleic acid, a second step of collecting the probe complexes formed at the first step using a magnetic force acting on the magnetic bead, a third step of separating at least the electrochemical light emitting material from the probe complexes collected at the second step, a fourth step of applying negative voltage onto a working electrode in order to collect the electrochemical light emitting material separated at the third step, and a fifth step of applying positive voltage onto the working electrode to make the collected electrochemical light emitting material to emit light and measuring the light quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
