<p>The crosspiece (12) has a rigid rear part (14) responding to Danner impacts. An anterior part (13) responds to pedestrian impacts. The parts form a single inseparable element. The anterior part is deformed and entirely housed within a volume of the rear part in case of the pedestrian impacts. The anterior part has an anterior vertical wall directly subjected to the impacts against a potential obstacle, and rear branches (16) moved away from each other towards rear. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a crosspiece for a front and/or rear structure of a motor vehicle.</p> |
