METHOD FOR SIGNAL MAPPING AND SIGNAL TRANSMISSION WITH SUBCARRIER SHIFT SCHEMES

Methods for signal mapping and signal transmission with subcarrier shift schemes are provided to minimize the DC distortion even though the data inter-carrier spacing becomes a multiple of the random access preamble inter-carrier spacing. The subcarrier for the upward link signal electrical transmission including random access preamble is shifted. The location of data subcarrier is moved on the frequency axis as the frequency band corresponding to the half of data inter-carrier spacing. The location of the random access preamble subcarrier is shifted by the frequency band corresponding to the half of data inter-carrier spacing and specific ratio of the random access preamble inter-carrier spacing. The data and the random access preamble are mapped to the data subcarrier and the random access preamble subcarrier.
