PROTEIN MARKER RELATED WITH THE BF FOR IMPROVING ECONOMIC TRAITS OF HANWOO

A biomarker protein related to economic characters such as BF is provided to predict genetic potential of the Hanwoo(Korean native cattle) in an early growth stage or embryo stage and facilitating an examination process. A biomarker protein contains Myosin light chain 1 alkali proteins comprising SEQ ID:1,2 and 3 of trypsin decomposed peptide sequence with molecular weight of 25-27kDa and 4.5-4.9 of pI. The Myosin light chain 1 alkali proteins are well-expressed in sirloin with high breeding estimation value related to BF rather than the sirloin with low breeding estimation value. A method for selecting high-quality Hanwoo includes a step of detecting whether the biomarker protein exists of not in the sirloin tissues. A diagnosis kit for detecting high-quality Hanwoo includes an antibody specifically coupled with immunogen fragment or the biomarker proteins.
