<p>An array substrate, a manufacturing method thereof, and a liquid crystal display device with the same are provided to play a gate insulating layer role and an interfacial property enhancement role of a pixel electrode by one insulating layer at the same time, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and simplifying the structure. A substrate(1) comprises a TFT area, a pixel area, a gate pad area, and a data pad area. A semiconductor layer(32) is arranged on the TFT area of the substrate. A source electrode(34) and a drain electrode(36) are separated each other on a semiconductor layer. A data line is integrally formed with a source electrode. The first insulation layer(3) comprises the first contact hole and the second contact hole. The first contact hole is arranged on the substrate. The first contact hole exposes a semiconductor layer between the source electrode and the drain electrode. The second contact hole exposes one side of the drain electrode. The second insulation layer(38) is arranged in an area except the second contact hole on the first insulation layer. A gate electrode(11) is arranged on the second insulation layer of the first contact hole. A gate line is integrally formed with the gate electrode. A pixel electrode is arranged on the second insulation layer of a pixel area.</p> |
