A solid material for preparing rice tea is provided to enable a consumer to easily and conveniently take the rice tea by allowing the solid material to be easily dissolved in hot water. A method for preparing a solid material comprises the following steps of: mixing 80-90vol% of scorched rice powder(11) and 10-20vol% of a starch solution; and drying the mixture at a temperature of 100-120°C in order to prepare a mixed solid material(10). A large piece of the scorched rice is adhered to a surface of the mixed solid material. The solid material for rice tea has an annular, hexagonal or long bar shape. The long bar-shaped solid material has cutting grooves at equal distance of each other.
