FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: engine comprises a housing with covers, piston with flexible elements attached thereto and to the said covers and representing bellows or coil springs made from the material that boasts a shape memory. The hot and cold heat carrier circulation system comprises heat exchangers, electrically driven valves and pumps. The control system comprises the piston TDC and BDC pickups the latter is linked up with the shaft by tie-rod. The housing top and bottom has heat carrier intake and discharge holes. The heat carrier intake holes communicate, via channels accommodating aforesaid electrically-driven valves, with the common pipeline connected to heat carrier circulation system to feed, in turns, an appropriate heat carrier to one of the said channels.
