A PTO clutch damage prevention device of a transmission for a tractor and a protecting method thereof are provided to prevent the burning of the PTO clutch by stopping the operation by detecting the hydraulic fluid pressure of the PTO clutch. A PTO clutch damage prevention device of a transmission for a tractor comprises: a control valve(210) supplying the working fuel to a PTO clutch or blocking a according to the operation of a PTO(Power Take Off) drive switch(220); a drive relay(240) installed between the PTO drive switch and control valve; and a pressure switch(230) changing the drive relay if the hydraulic fluid pressure of the PTO clutch is out of the normal operation pressure range.
