ULTRASONIC SENSOR WITH WATER REPELLENT FUNCTION

An encapsulated type ultrasonic sensor is provided to maintain the sensitivity and directivity of the open type ultrasonic sensor with the optimal level and to be applied to the range finder, the system for the invasion prevention, the intelligent robot of outdoor, the leading edge appliance industry etc. The supporter(52) is adhered to the acoustic emission opening(h2) of the open type ultrasonic sensor. The water-repellent membrane(51) is formed in the supporter. The cover plate(h1) of outer housing(30) of the sensor is formed with the same material as the outer housing. The supporter which covers with the water-repellent membrane is adhered to the outer housing.
