<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity controller, conducting the humidity control corresponding to the activity status of a resident. <P>SOLUTION: In this humidity controller 1, a control part 6 determines switching from the humidifying operation to the dehumidifying operation based on the detection result of a humidity sensor 26, so that after the humidifying operation, automatically switching to the dehumidifying operation can be achieved. Therefore, when a user stops the operation of a heater for going to bed, the room temperature drops and the relative humidity rises, automatically the dehumidifying operation is started so that surplus moisture after the humidifying operation is collected.
