PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which has high noise resistance so as not to interfere with detection of an LPP and has excellent detection accuracy of the LPP as a result even for a poor-quality optical disk having LPP-shaped noise in terms of a signal caused by defect of a land part. SOLUTION: A land pre-pit detecting circuit of the optical disk device is provided with: a first peak hold circuit receiving a push-pull signal and outputting first peak voltage; a second peak hold circuit receiving a push-pull signal through LPF and outputting second peak voltage; a bottom hold circuit receiving the first peak voltage and outputting bottom voltage; a slice level generating circuit generating a slice level for detecting a land pre-pit by dividing the difference between the bottom voltage and the second peak voltage; and a comparator detecting the land pre-pit by comparing the push-pull signal with the slice level generated by the slice level generating circuit.
