ELECTROMAGNETIC STIRRER

摘要

An electromagnetic stirrer which enables to obtain an excellent stirring force than the conventional stirrers. The electromagnetic stirrer comprises a coil (1) for generating a vertically traveling magnetic field provided on the outer circumference of a container (5) along the vertical direction, and a coil (2) for generating a votating magnetic field provided on the outside of the coil (1) for generating a vertically traveling magnetic field. The electromagnetic stirrer is further provided with comb teeth (3a) extending to the inner surface of the coil (1) for generating a vertically traveling magnetic field, and a core (3) composed of a magnetic material having magnetic isotropy inserted between the coil (1) for generating a vertically traveling magnetic field and the coil (2) for generating a rotating magnetic field.
