PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing an immunopotentiator capable of carrying out the prophylaxis of infectious diseases of various animals on an industrial scale in a short time and a method for carrying out a degrading treatment of unutilized seaweeds and reducing the amount of produced wastes produced from harvesting of seaweeds to processing thereof. SOLUTION: The seaweeds are dissolved in an aqueous solution of sodium carbonate and insoluble materials are filtered. The resultant filtrate is then dried and solidified to afford the immunopotentiator. |
