PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which is excellent in manual operability for changing the relative position of a pressure roller and a heating roller and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the fixing device. SOLUTION: The pressure roller 32 comes in contact with the heating roller 31, in a pressed state by pressing of a pressing member. The pressed state can be released by a releasing member 82. At least, in such a state that the pressed state is released, the facing position of the pressure roller 32 with respect to the heating roller 31 can be changed in the circumferential direction of the heating roller 31.
