<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a sheet-fed printing press, namely, a method for discharging printed sheets from the sheet-fed printing press after stopper operation. <P>SOLUTION: At least impression cylinders of a printing press are driven by the main driving part or respective main driving parts for printing, while other cylinders or rollers of the printing press are driven by independent motors by respective auxiliary driving parts arranged in each cylinder or roller, with a paper feeder released from connection after stopper operation. After the stopper is operated, the main driving part or the respective main driving parts are driven so as to vibrate at a fixed number of revolution or at the number of inching revolution of an inching mode. As a result, the printed sheets can be discharged from the printing press through transfer cylinders or impression cylinders that are driven at a fixed number of revolution or the inching number of revolution. Meantime, since the auxiliary driving part or the respective auxiliary driving parts are driven at a low number of revolution, during the discharge of the printed sheets from the printing press, the plate cylinder and the ink device of the printing press are driven at the number of revolution lower than that of the transfer cylinder and the impression cylinder of the printing press. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
