PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic image processing system that determines an area to display a subject through simple operation and controls a scaling factor. SOLUTION: A frame (R) is disposed at an arbitrary position between the subject (T) and a camera (B). A subject is imaged by the camera (B). A frame detecting unit (13) detects the frame (R) from the subject image and a partial subject image extracting unit (14) extracts a partial image of the subject (T) disposed in the detected frame (R). A display image generating unit (15) generates a display image by changing a predetermined image size on the partial image extracted by the partial subject image extracting unit (14), and the generated display image is transferred by a display image transfer unit (16) to a display device (D) to be displayed by the display device (D).
