PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select presence or the absence of a display, the display contents, and the display direction of a nonvolatile display device, after power is turned off. SOLUTION: A user sets whether display of a nonvolatile display device 7 is to be kept or eliminated, after power is turned off by using a use input means 8. A system control device 6 stores the set information in a memory 10. When power is turned off, the system control device 6 readouts the set information from the memory 10 and controls the display of the nonvolatile display device 7. When the display is to be eliminated, the system control device 6 changes the display of the nonvolatile display device 7 to a black screen, a white screen, or an appropriate patterned screen.
