PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of equalizing the air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas in each exhaust port in a structure collecting a part of exhaust ports out of a plurality of exhaust ports at one section in a cylinder head and making secondary air for accelerating oxidation of exhaust gas supplied to each exhaust port. SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine is provided with a secondary air supply device 7 supplying the plurality of exhaust ports 213, 214 with secondary air for accelerating oxidation of exhaust gas respectively. In this internal combustion engine, a collected exhaust ports 213 are collected in the cylinder head 21, the collecting part of the collected ports 213 and an independent exhaust port 214 are connected to an external part of the cylinder head 21. Hereat, supply quantity of secondary air to the collected exhaust port 213, and supply quantity of secondary air to the independent exhaust port 214 are set roughly equal.
