<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor control apparatus making the activation period of a gas sensor element shorter than the conventional art. <P>SOLUTION: The energization of a heater element 161 starts being energized to activate a gas sensor 1. When the resistance of a Vs cell 120 becomes lower than 300 Ω, a target Rpvs is set at 100 Ω, a CPU 61 controls a heater driving circuit 57 to control the energization of the heater element 161 so that the resistance of the Vs cell 120 becomes lower than 100 Ω. After that, after a lapse of a certain time, a target Rpvs is set at 200 Ω, a CPU 61 controls the heater driving circuit 57 to control the energization of the heater element 161 so that the resistance (Rpvs) of the Vs cell 120 becomes 200 Ω. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
