<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electric equipment which can ensure the versatility of a case body, suppress an amount of filler to be filled, and surely embed an optional electronic part in the filler. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting apparatus is provided with: a case body 12 which is cylindrical and has an opening at one end side and wherein a pair of holding parts 23 and 23 are formed; a substrate 13 to be housed in the pair of holding parts within the case body; electronic parts 32 and 33 mounted on the substrate; a synthetic resin which is put into the case body from the opening and is cured as a filler; and an insulation tape 34 as a sheet material which is adhered to the top side of an electronic part 33a projecting to the most upper side against the substrate surface. When the insulation tape is adhered to the top of the projecting electronic part, a synthetic resin enters a gap at the inner surface side of the insulation tape, thus covering the external surface of the projecting electronic part with the filler. Thus, the amount of use of the synthetic resin P can be reduced, and the projecting electronic part can be surely embedded in the synthetic resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
