PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sighting telescope capable of nimbly performing magnification converting operation of a zoom ring without using a gear, and varying magnifications from the minimum one to the maximum one by rotation having a rotation angle of not more than that of a zoom cam, without spoiling strength and accuracy of the sighting telescope. SOLUTION: This sighting telescope is equipped with a zoom mechanism having a structure in which the rotation angle of the zoom ring is amplified and transmitted to a cam cylinder by providing a movement cam to drive an erect lens chamber between the cam cylinder and the zoom ring.
