PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection method which digitizes the position of a defect found in a visual inspection of a construction work on the spot to be specified and writes it on a conventional inspection sheet to enable implementation of correction work only by using the inspection sheet and promote conversion of inspection results into electronic data. SOLUTION: The visual inspection method conducted in the inspection of the construction work comprises establishing plane coordinates on the surface or on the floor of the object to be inspected such as individual room or a section of the divided partition, and the position of a defect found in the inspection is specified by numerals according to the coordinates.
