<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of accurately preventing surface staining caused by developing dust and achieving much higher image quality in a photoreceptor belt system whose developing dust suppressing effect is expected further than a photoreceptor drum system. <P>SOLUTION: A winding angle to specify winding width from an upstream-side contact where a photoreceptor belt 2 starts winding around a developing counter roller 6d to a downstream-side contact where it finishes winding, that is the width in a turning direction where the photoreceptor belt 2 comes into contact with the developing counter roller 6d, is defined as θ, the developing position of a developing roller 6e set so that a developing gap between the photoreceptor belt 2 and the developing roller 6e may be optimum is set to a position between the upstream-side contact of the developing counter roller 6d to a position showing θ/2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
