<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for allowing an image forming apparatus to perform normal processing, without imposing a large setup load on a user. <P>SOLUTION: Functional information is managed for a plurality of workflow execution devices capable of performing a processing flow composed of a plurality of processing processes. The first set value information established to perform the processing flow at a first workflow execution device is acquired. When the processing flow is performed at a second workflow execution device, the second set value information is generated for the second workflow execution device using the functional information on the second workflow execution device and the acquired first set value information. Then, flow information concerning the processing flow and the generated second set value information are transmitted to the second workflow execution device. Accordingly, it becomes unnecessary for a user to re-select a set value, and an external workflow execution device can perform workflow normally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
