PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of rack mounting-type electronic equipment having a small height by achieving side face exhaustion with a simple and versatile structure and introducing an exhaust gas to the rear face of the equipment to suppress the internal temperature of a rack cabinet, thus preventing the performance degradation of electronic components in the electronic equipment, the lowering of reliability and the life shortening. SOLUTION: In this cooling structure, a bracket for mounting is produced like a cylindrical duct; an opening for air inlet is provided through a slide rail; and an opening for air outlet is provided in the rear face side of the equipment, so that air discharged from a side face of the rack mounting-type electronic equipment is discharged to a rear face of the electronic equipment through the bracket for mounting of the electronic equipment.
