The consumer demand is measured for consultations with one or more service providers associated with the brokerage system and having service provider profiles that satisfy at least some attributes in the set of attributes. A supply of active service providers associated with the system and having service provider profiles that satisfy at least some attributes in the set of attributes is also measured. It is determined whether an imbalance exists between the consumer demand for and the supply of active service providers having service provider profiles that satisfy at least some attributes in the set of attributes.
