<p>Disclosed is a gas sensor which can be used easily, while preventing limitation of material for electrode portions to special materials. Specifically disclosed is a gas sensor comprising a gas sensing portion used for sensing a gas, whose electrical conductivity changes when a gas comes into contact with the gas sensing portion, and an electrical conductivity measuring means for measuring the electrical conductivity of the gas sensing portion. This gas sensor is characterized in that the gas sensing portion is formed using a carbon nanotube.</p>
