A dielectric ceramic composition is provided to improve accelerated life of insulation resistance while constantly maintaining a non-dielectric rate, a DC bias property, an internal pressure(breakdown voltage) property and a capacity temperature characteristic. A dielectric ceramic composition comprises: Ba_mTiO_(2·¢m) wherein m satisfies inequality of 0.99<=m<=1.01; Ba_nZrO_(2·¢n) wherein n satisfies inequality of 0.99<=n<=1.01; and oxide of R selected among Sc, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu. When A moles of Ba_nZrO_(2·¢n) and C moles of oxide are prepared on a basis of 100moles of Ba_mTiO_(2·¢m), the A represents the inequality of 40<=A<=65moles and the C represents the inequality of 4<=C<=15moles and the both of A and C satisfy the following equation(1) of 0.0038A-0.147<=B<=0.004A·¢0.04 and equation(2) of 0.0041C-0.0115<=D<=0.0046C+0.084 wherein B shows a ratio of X-ray diffraction maximum peak intensity of the Ba_nZrO_(2·¢n) to that of the Ba_mTiO_(2·¢m).
