PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for cutting the inner wall of a manhole which can be rotated via a pulley in such a manner that the upper edge of a manhole lid frame serves as a rail, and can cut a bolt for fastening the manhole, is buried in the manhole, by enabling the cutting action of a cutter to be exerted by exclusively employing a manual operation. SOLUTION: The device for cutting the inner wall of the manhole comprises: pulley supporting mechanisms 7 in each of which the pulley sliding in such a manner that the upper peripheral edge M1 of the manhole lid frame serves as the rail is arranged; a base plate 2 with a handle in which the pulley supporting mechanisms are arranged in three locations at the outer periphery in such a manner as to freely advance and recede in a horizontal direction; an ascending and descending mechanism P which is provided between the pulley supporting mechanisms 7 and the base plate 2, and functions in a vertical direction; and a pushing adjusting mechanism which moves a driving source and a flat plate-shaped circular cutter 3, driven by the driving source and a gear mechanism and rotated on a horizontal plane on the base plate 2. The device for cutting the inner wall of the manhole can cut a bolt shaft B for supporting the manhole lid frame M, or the bolt shaft and a concrete wall by means of the circular cutter 3.
