An electric compressor integrating an inverter which can enhance the reliability by solving various problems resulting from thermal expansion of a vibration isolating and moisture proofing gel material filling the accommodating section of an inverter. The accommodating section (11) of the inverter is integrally provided on the outer circumference of a housing (2) for accommodating the electric compressor, the inverter (20) is installed in the accommodating section for the inverter, the inside of the accommodating section is filled with a vibration isolating and moisture proofing gel material (30) while leaving an air layer (31) at the upper portion thereof, and the opening in the upper surface of the accommodating section of an inverter is sealed with a cover member (18). In such an electric compressor integrating an inverter (1), the cover member (18) is provided with a ventilation valve (40) composed of a moisture permeable waterproof membrane (42).
