PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-emitting semiconductor laser whose manufacturing cost can be reduced and lifetime can be extended while keeping the reliability of a laser printer or the like well. SOLUTION: The surface-emitting semiconductor laser 100 includes three or more resonators 141 to 143, a first common electrode electrically connected to respective resonators, and second common electrodes 109a and 109b electrically connected to respective resonators. Each resonator has a first mirror electrically connected to the first common electrode, an active layer formed above the first mirror, and a second mirror formed above the active layer and electrically connected to the second common electrodes, and at least part of each active layer is a light-emitting region 108, and centers of respective light-emitting regions are placed on a circle and are arranged at equal intervals, in a plane view.
