PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device including a spatial light modulator capable of projecting light while appropriately maintaining polarizing characteristics. SOLUTION: The projection device including a plurality of the spatial light modulators for modulating light emitted from a light source is provided with a filter member including at least one filter for wavelength-selectively converting the polarizing direction of the light emitted from the light source.
