PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the total printing speed and the printing quality of a print by providing a device capable of using a plurality of inks at the same time by a single device, thereby making it possible to perform simultaneous printing on one print by the plurality of inks. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes: a first printing system; a second printing system; a carriage synchronization means for detecting the completion of one scan of the first printing system and the second printing system which is common in the respective printing systems and synchronizing carriage movement; a head-to-head position adjusting means for correcting the distance of a print start position between the head 1 of the first printing system and the head 2 of the second printing system to a predetermined distance; and the like and can perform the simultaneous printing of printing data, based on a printing command from a host computer by the respective printing systems.
