PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cock integral type gas meter mounting unit, that simply mounts a small-sized gas meter, having gas meter inlet and outlet that point downward. SOLUTION: This gas meter mounting unit 1 includes: a joint 60 to the gas meter inlet 51; an inlet pipe part 10 having a gas cock 14 for opening and closing a gas passage 12 and a joint 16 to an inside pipe 2; a joint 90 to a gas meter outlet 52; an outlet pipe part 40 having a pressure-detecting plug 44 for detecting gas pressure and a joint 18 to the outlet pipe 3; and a mounting member 48 connecting the inlet pipe part, an outlet pipe part and a building wall, wherein one of joints to the inlet and outlet of a gas meter is a connection type and the other thereof is an insert type. Thus, the connecting work that uses a connection-type joint is performed; and simultaneously, the connecting work by using an insertion-type joint is performed so that centering of the inlet pipe part and the outlet pipe part and gas meter inlet and outlet is not needed so that even if one is not skilled in gas meter mounting work, gas meter can be fixed in a simple manner.
