<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content storage management apparatus which can display the recording list of series programs at a high speed, when a content is stored in an external storage device which can be accessed even from other external apparatus connected to a network. <P>SOLUTION: A television receiver 11 has a CPU 11a which stores inputted content data and predetermined meta information regarding each content obtained, by analyzing the inputted attribute information in an HDD 13 connected to a network 15; extracts the series name information of series programs from the attribute information; stores it in a serial drama information file 13d; and displays each series name of a plurality of series programs, based on the series name information stored in the information file of series of programs 13d, when the list of the contents of series programs is displayed.
