<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip in which light-receiving volume can be reduced on a lamp side of the clip inserted into a through hole of a support member and mounted, and in which a situation of light leakage by passing through the clip outside the support member can be suppressed, and a light source device. <P>SOLUTION: The clip 3 is formed having two pinching pieces 31, 31 which are separated in a juxtaposed direction of the lamp supported by the support member having the through hole and which pinch the lamp, two non-pinching parts 32, 32 which are ranging from one end of the pinching pieces 31, 31 and separated from every of the pinching pieces 31, 31, a disk-shaped retaining part 33 which is ranging from the non-pinching parts 32, 32 and retains the pinching pieces 31, 31, and convex parts 34, 34 protruded and installed at the outer face of one end part of the pinching pieces 31, 31.
