PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify processing when power fails in a game machine. SOLUTION: A power supply board for controlling power supply to various kinds of control boards for controlling the operation of the game machine is provided with a backup power source and a power failure monitoring circuit. When detecting the decline of a supply voltage, the power failure monitoring circuit outputs a power failure advance announcement signal to the control board. The control board executes processing for the time of power interruption occurrence for making it possible to reproduce an operation state when the power fails when the power is restored by utilizing the power of the backup power source, and then prepares for power supply stop. The processing for the time of the power interruption occurrence is not interruption processing but is branching processing executed at the stipulated position of a control loop. In such a manner, since the values of a stack pointer and a register, etc., requested in order to reproduce the operation state when the power fails become stipulated values, the processing for the time of the power interruption occurrence is simplified.
