A chain gripper (12) provided with a clamping mechanism for clamping/unclamping a sheet, an endless chain (121) for supporting the clamping/unclamping means, and a chain guide (123) for guiding the endless chain (121) along a predetermined circulation track in order to reduce noise by suppressing vibration when the endless chain is circulated. The chain guide (123) has a groove (124) made in a fixed frame F to form a circulation track, an inside guide member (125a) fixed to the frame F under a state where a portion of the endless chain (121) is contained in the groove (124) and supporting the inside of the circulation track in the endless chain (121), and an outside guide member (125b) fixed to the frame F under a state where a portion of the endless chain (121) is contained in the groove (124) and supporting the outside of the circulation track in the endless chain (121).
