The parking brake system has a control element and two electromechanical actuators (6) for generating a parking brake force on a respective wheel of a vehicle. The control element is connected through a controller to a wheel electronics (8) of the former electromechanical actuator by a signal line and through another controller to the wheel electronics of the latter electromechanical actuator by another signal line. A third signal line is provided, to connect the control element to the wheel electronics or to one of the respective electromechanical actuators and transmits the driver's request. |
