A BRAKING INDICATOR FOR A RAILWAY VEHICLE

A brake indicator of a railway vehicle is provided to check the brake state more accurately and to facilitate the maintenance and repair by employing the diaphragm sensing method for electric signal generation. A brake indicator(40) of a railway vehicle comprises a brake indicator body including a transparent window(42) on one side, a cylinder(44) connected to a pneumatic line(41) within the brake indicator body, a fluid induction hole(51) installed in the pneumatic line to induce the fluid flowing along the pneumatic line, a sensor(48) which receives the pressure drop fluid flowing along the pneumatic line through the fluid induction hole and generates electric signal, and a connection unit attaching the sensor to the brake indicator body.
