A bar coating device is provided to prevent the generation of smudge on the vertical line of the coating surface and to perform uniform coating. A bar coating device comprises a bar(20), support member(22), upstream side girder member and downstream side girder member(30). The bar applies the coating solution to a strip-like body(18). The support member is installed at the bottom side of the bar and holds the bar rotatably. The upstream side girder member and downstream side girder member are installed at the upstream side and the downstream side respectively of moving direction and supplies the coating solution between the supporting members. |
