The invention relates to a wheel, especially for a sports gear, comprising a rim (1), a tire (6) that is retained on the rim (1), and resiliently embodied supporting elements (22, 23) for the tire (6), on which the tire (6) rests at least in part and by which the tire (6) is supported at least in some sections in the cross-sectional direction thereof. Furthermore, a first group of supporting elements (22) extend from a first bearing section (12) of the rim (1) to the opposite side while a second group of supporting elements (23) extend from a second bearing section (13) of the rim (1) to the opposite side, said second bearing section (13) facing the first bearing section (12).
