An electric-powered device for shining shoes is provided to prevent the trouser of user from being stained with shoe polish as the shoe polish flies away. An electric-powered device for shining shoes comprises: a housing including a box type case having an opening and a cover; a foothold supporter(120) fixed to the case; a foothold(122) pivotally combined in the foothold supporter; a top brush(150) settled in the foothold in order to wash the upper side of the shoes; a first spring assembly equipped with a pair of first spring; a second spring assembly installed in a pair of side brush support bracket; and a controller(180) controlling the drive of a drive motor and base frame mobile unit.
