PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting chip removing structure of a cutting tool, which is applicable to such a machining method that a workpiece is machined while being clamped and subsequently measured in terms of machining accuracy, and which can completely remove chips pinched between the workpiece and a clamping member, to thereby eliminate an abnormal measuring result. SOLUTION: There is provided a cutting tool 3 which is formed of a workpiece attaching/detaching station A, a large end finishing station B where an inner diameter of a large end Wa of the workpiece W is finished, a small end finishing station where an inner diameter of a small end of the workpiece W is finished, and a measuring station C where the machining accuracy of the inner diameter of the large end is measured, wherein the stations are arranged in four directions. After clamping the workpiece W by the clamping member 2 in the workpiece attaching/detaching station A, the cutting tool 3 carries out machining and measuring while keeping the workpiece W clamped until the measurement in the measuring station C. Herein the cutting tool 3 has a projection 5t at a predetermined location on the periphery of a chip holder 5, and a front end of the projection 5t is faced to a location in the vicinity of a clamping portion and close to a workpiece surface.
